A veteran IAF pilot invited me to join him in a trip to the wailing wall in Jerusalem as part of the pro-democracy protests. The aim was to commemorate the soldiers who fell in the 1967 six-day war, sacrificing their life for the Israel we love and cherish - a pro-western liberal democracy!
It was the first time I ventured out from my Kaplan location dressed as a handmaid from “The Handmaid's tale”.
I brought with me two white pigeons allocated from Samaria. I let them free once in Jerusalem - symbolizing the aspiration for peace on the national level, and wishing for the successful conclusion of my and all other women’s divorce proceedings.
